A Protagonist with an Mysterious Past

Characters in a video game provide interest to the players coming from what they are and how they function in the game. This gives the players empathy to develop characters, goals and game objectives. They mirror audience's of a specific gender or type. For example Mario mostly appeals to boys than girls. Characters make a creative effect in a game, which is an  important role with everything going on and around the game environment. There are three types of characters. One type is the protagonist, who is the main character of a story or game, which creates conflict in the story. The second type is the antagonist, who opposes the main character's attempts or against the main character. The third type is flat characters, who have the  lack of traits and shallow personality like a random Npc in town.  There aren't that many flat characters in the game I'm going to write about a game called Trace Memory. Trace Memory is a puzzle game for the Nintendo Ds., which uses a stylus and microphone.

The story line of Trace Memory is a slow progressing mystery, that mirrors those in love with this type of game. There was a research study on human memory in the government's secret lab. The two scientists involved, Richard and Sayoko Robbins suddenly disappeared. Later their daughter, Ashley Robbins presumed her parents'  were dead. She received a mysterious package that was sent by her father that holds a small device called, DTS. The DTS is a camera where your able to examine pictures. Also  it is able to read messages which are in DAS data cards that are hidden within the game. Ashley uses it by tracing it to a deserted island called, Blood Edward Island. This led her to a mystery to determine if her parents were dead or still alive. She goes there with her father's younger sister, Jessica Robbins in which she tells Ashley some parts about her parents and other scientist who disappeared while at sea. She encounters many characters and facts she never knew about Blood Edward Island. There are so many twists about the protagonist and antagonist leading up to the climax of the game. Also, there are many back stories and characters which make the game interesting.

Kirby 4-Player Adventure Game?!?!?!?!

Many might think of Kirby Games to be only for single players or for young players. This isn't really true whether its for young players or not. It only depends on anything type player. Cooperative games  allow you and your friends to socialize and have fun at the same time while playing the game. Those types of games can easily make you go into the flow especially when your playing a game that does not allow you to play the main game, instead you are allowed to only play the side quest or mini game. Cooperative games never really lead you to get bored of a game since you'll have a friend you can talk to. Cooperative games also will have an increasing rate of addicting fun when you have more players.

If you know about the about the pink puff ball, Kirby, you should know by now that there is a 4 player co-op called Kirby Return to Dreamland where you venture through 6 worlds. Each world has a creative name too. You can play as Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Waddle Dee. They each have different abilities, like King Dedede attacks with his Hammer, Meta Knight uses his Sword, and Waddle Dee uses his Spear. There's new abilities like leaf and water but, there is also "Super Abilities" in which only Kirby can use. The Super Abilities are mega upgrades of the original ability of Kirby and they are helpful in solving puzzle mechanics to obtain rare items like the Energy Sphere. These are important within Story Mode. Don't worry that other players can't get to the Super Abilities, they just have to be Kirby. The special thing about co-op is that each Kirby has a different color. When more than 2 players, you can do the "team attack" by using certain buttons. Holding the A button at the same time, then release it causes a gigantic blast, which extremely powerful. The "Team attack" can do  huge amounts of damage especially when it comes to bosses. It doesn't end there for co-op, you can also play mini games like "Scope Shot" where you shoot projectiles and robots. If you continue playing the main game, you'll unlocked more mini games. This game is worth playing when your playing with your friends or family.

Pokemon Dungeon Crawler Game?!?!

If you do not know what Pokemon is, its an RPG game where you capture these creatures and tame them to make them stronger. If you are familiar with playing Pokemon, then you should understand the concept of Pokemon . Have you ever wondered if there was a different type of Pokemon game, like a spin-off. Have you ever felt like becoming a Pokemon and exploring places in a new world where you can speak or interact with other Pokemon? There is a new style of Pokemon called, "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red Rescue Team." This game is a semi-based game where you explore many different dungeons by finding many rare items and encounter many wild Pokemon along the way.

What is so different from any other Pokemon game is that, you start your adventure with a partner. Together you form a team and rescue other Pokemon by doing missions or side quests. There are even  challenges within the game where you can get hunger, encounter traps, or monster houses, where you are in a full room of wild Pokemon. Every time you do a mission, you'll get rewards and get rescue points. Those rescue points will increase your rank by getting higher chances of befriending Pokemon. Also when your in dungeons, sometimes when you defeat one, they'll sometimes ask you if they can join your squad. This is almost  like capturing a Pokemon. It also has a very interesting emotional story unlike the regular Pokemon games. In other games its impossible to capture every single Legendary Pokemon, well this is a possibility in this game. And lastly, the difference between these two versions of the games is Blue is for the Nintendo DS and Red is for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) with both having different aspects and exclusive Pokemon. I highly recommend this game to people who have an interest in this  new type of Pokemon.
